Boomerang newspaper app by Unite - a perfect addition to Labrador CMS
Boomerang, mobile app by Unite, is now integrated with Labrador CMS, allowing for the seamless content delivery across devices
Unite is a technology company of the Norwegian media conglomerate Mentor Medier. They have recently partnered with Labrador bringing 5 of their titles from Arc XP to Labrador CMS . This includes Vårt Land, Morgenbladet, Dagsavisen, the Swedish newspaper Dagen, and the easy-to-read newspaper Klar Tale.
Another common thing for these publications is their newspaper app delivered by Unite. The app is made to ensure loyalty and create experiences that will make readers come back again and again. This is the main reason behind the name of the app - Boomerang.
Boomerang allows you to show the best of your news website and it includes push notifications and offers simple navigation. It also has features allowing for the perfect support of the podcast format.
The examples show the mobile looks of Morgenbladet and Vårt Land. Both of these titles thrive with a combination of Labrador CMS and Boomerang. When it comes to their mission, Francis Lundh, the CEO of Unite says:
It is constantly being developed with a special focus on playing well with Labrador, and reflects the mobile front pages of media houses in a sparkling way with lightning-fast push notifications, user-friendly icons and menu selections, swipe functionality and much more.
-With Boomerang, we aim to create the ideal news app for both small and large publishers. It is constantly being developed with a special focus on playing well with Labrador, and reflects the mobile front pages of media houses in a sparkling way with lightning-fast push notifications, user-friendly icons and menu selections, swipe functionality and much more. Audio playback as a podcast works great and you get full access in both the AppStore and Google Play Store.
Unite works on continuously onboarding new publications to Boomerang, which is an overall smooth process given the existing integration with Labrador CMS.
